Can anyone give this gereatric rock chick some info on Basement Jaxx please. I'm a bit confused (not difficult for me).... I first saw them as a support band for Robbie Williams at Milton Keynes 2 or 3 years ago and although stood quite near the back, they blew me away - I remember a few 'colourful ladies' leaping about the stage. I bought their 'Singles' CD on my return and love most tracks on there but didn't think too much more about them until it was announced that they were doing a gig near me, so I had to buy some tickets. However, whenever I try to research them, all I seem to get is photos of the two guys. I'm not sure what to expect at this gig - am I gonna be out of my depth :-) Are these ladies a permanent part of their act???

I'm sure you'll have a blast, they're very good live. Assuming that their appearence is a full live show rather than a DJ set then, yes, I would expect that the brilliant (but mad) singers will make an appearence. The nature of their music means that there will probably be a real mix of vocalists over the course of the gig.
Basement Jaxx is the two fellas and they use loads of guest vocalists on their records. They seem to have stuck with the same backing singers though (why wouldn't you?!), so no guarantees but they'll probably be there.
