Hi does anyone know if the man in the Lenor advert, that sings “where is the sun”, the same guy who is in the Go compare adverts?.

Looking closely at that ad, I suspect that the actors in it might not actually be doing the singing. (Wynne Evans, in the GoCompare ads is very much an exception in the field. It's far more common for songs to be dubbed in commercials, so that a good face and a good voice can be merged together). So the voice you hear might well be that of an unknown studio singer....

No, I don't think so.
No, it's a different bloke. Similar voice though !

It’s sounds so much like him (assuming it’s the actors voice). I thought they looked similar?
Well, they are both plump, but I can't see any other likeness myself.
theres probably about 15 years difference!
He isn't Wynne Evans, the tenor who plays Gio Compario in the Go Compare adverts.
ridiculous advert - what has a fabric softener/smelly got to do with not being able to dry your washing?
davebro, very often clothes dried indoors on a radiator or clothes horse can smell a bit - unfresh. Not the same as clothes dried outdoors, anyway.

However the blurb below the ad that Mamya has posted (when viewed on its YouTube page) states: "Featuring: Richard Willing (Actor)", with a blank space left alongside "Voiceover:".
There is no mention of another way to dry clothes - only that they can't dry them outdoors cos it's raining. They probably live in Manchester & the advert is ***!

how would it possibly entice anyone to buy Lenor?

Yes there is - the whole point of the ad is that one person dries their stuff inside, but it still smells as if she's dried it outside because she's used lenor.
