Early 1960s I borrowed an lp with the group featured on the sleeve as knights in armour. I believe it was by one of the big groups of the time but just cannot find it online or in shops. Can anyone suggest some titles or groups please?

Have you tried Amazon ? They have loads of CDs by The Barron Knights, might be something that fits the bill for you.
