I have a 3 1/2 yr old grandchild, what are the legal requirements for having her in the front passenger seat, i.e age, height and type of child seat ?

Also bear in mind if you have passanger side airbags fitted as they are designed for adults so may cause injury, if deployed, to a child. Check your handbook and if nessecary turn them off.
well i thought it was against the law for children to sit in the front even with booster seats, but sinde working as alollipop lady and seeing children in the front i questioned it and was told they can sit in the front with correct seats .When im on short journeys i tend to let my 6 yr old with a booster cushion sit in the front as i feel i can talk to her and hear what she is saying better.
