Is it legal to tow with an A Frame on the motorway?

If the A frame is legally mounted on a trailer, no reason why it shouldn't be, but not in the right hand lane when there are 3 or more lanes.
Yes you can legally tow a vehicle on a motorway, The RAC/AA used to use these 'A' frames all the time
