In England, you drive on the left.
In Scotland and Wales, it's on the right, like the rest of Europe. They've got those crossover points like Scalectrix tracks at the border.
I want to know why I'm not the only person on the road and why everyone can't get off the road when I get on it !
cooo, look. You can buy Road Rules on ebay ---------->
Does that mean you can get whichever ones you want and ignore the rest?
If you drive a Challenger tank drive on which side you fancy
Do unto others as they would do unto you..........just do it first.
I was speaking to a guy in the US when I was over there the other week. He said we drove on the 'wrong' side. He enquired as to 'when' we will be changing. I told him we were phasing it in!
from 1st april 2007 the uk will switch from driving on the left to the right .
during march all the road signs will be turned to face the other way in preparation for this.
There is talk of a trial run, The april date will first start of with lorries and buses and if this is successful then cars will follow 3 months later
Guy calls his blonde girlfriend on her mobile and tells her to be careful driving home on the motorway as some fcukwit is driving in the wrong direction...girlfriend replies...sh1t, there's not just one, there hundreds of them! Sorry this thread just reminded me of that joke :0/ !
Many many years ago a friend of my Dad's was going to take his family to France in their Morris Oxford, (the proper rounded one, not the Pininfarina tank). It was a pretty unusual thing to do in those days, particularly by members of t'working class from oop North. Anyway, one Monday he was walking to work with my Dad and the trip came up in conversation. Friend said he'd dropped the idea. Thought he'd get some practice in, driving on the right, so had tried it going to Blackburn the previous Saturday. Trip had convinced him it was b****y unsafe so they were going to Blackpool as usual.

Great story, completely untrue but always made me laugh as a nipper.

Hee hee, turned out nice again.
