I have a Clarion head unit fitted in my car, their is a 13 pin round din plug in the boot for a CD changer does anyone know if i have to use a clarion CD changer or will any CD changer fit. thx..

Most of these "umbilical cords" are proprietory. (eg .. they are specific to make) Check on eBay for a seller and ask them, or phone and ask an Audio specialist.

Kenwood ... Clarion ... Aiwa may well be the same ... so long as post-'94
MZ type (C929 or 927) may be different. Best check!
The Clarion round 13-pin DIN is called C-Bus, with pinouts compatible with old Clarion C-Bus units only (C-Bus having been superceded by the CeNet square 13-pin DIN in the last decade or so). Adapters exist to convert C-Bus to other types of connector.

Thanks guys i have just brought clarion 6 disc changer with c-bus connector off ebay for £13.50 BARGIN.
