I park my caravan in a secure caravan parking plot BUT when i want to put it in or take it out there is always a car or 2 parked facing the gates making it hard to get in/out i have tried to be nice about it but it doesn't make any difference to them they still park there, sometimes the wheels are on the pavement/road, i have put a sign up asking if they would not park opposite the gates all of the caravan owners have told them but they keep on parking there WHAT CAN WE DO TO STOP THEM.
Many thanks in advance.

from what you say, nothing. they are not blocking you in, you can still get out. If the road opposite the gates belongs to you then you CAN say exactly what goes on there. If not, other people have rights as much as you

how are thye causing an obstruction if everybody can still get their vans in and out?
If it is a public highway then there isn't a lot you can do. As long as you can get out, even with difficulty they are doing nothing wrong.

You could ask the local highways department to put yellow lines there or parking restrictions though.
Typical caravanner. Not only do you expect to be able to delay half the country and block up the road network throughout the summer, you also expect preferential rights to part of the public highway to park your van after the summer has ended.
