Can anyone explain to me what exactly they mean by Understeer and Oversteer ?

They are terms that describe how a vehicle behaves towards the limit of its handling. Understeer is when a car responds less to steering action (so tends to plough straight ahead at a corner). Oversteer is when it responds more than expected - typically when the rear of a rear-wheel drive car swings outwards when accelerating through a bend.
