ford fusion cam belt

I have recently purchased a Ford Fusion 2 as some idiot crashed into my car!!! My question is a Fusion is basically a big Fiesta and as suh does the cam bely need changing after a 100k or 10 years the same as the Fiesta. TIA

To leave a Cam belt on at 100k you are taking one hell of a chance, change it.

I know that sounds stupid but Ford say Fiesta's need it changing every 100K or 10 years whatever is first thats why i asked if a fusion was the same.

Hi, Fords say a lot of things but it's not them that paying out when the belt goes, I will put it another way, If the car was mine it would be done at least 55k but if you are prepaired to take the risk what can you say.

Hi, do not forget the Fan belt, although they do not do the same type of work I would get that changed at the same time as whoever does the job will have to remove this belt the same time.
