Today I saw a car with the blue border on the left of the number plate containing the EU symbol and the letters CY. Does anyone know which country this was from?

yes and by lucky coincidence it also handily starts with the letters "CY".

Thanks R1Geezer but I didn't know that Cyprus was in the EU so I didn't associate CY with Cyprus
