I have a 1992 Rover 216 Cabriolet, the roof stopped part way the other day and I wonderd if anyone had an idea of why and how to fix it. The motor still makes a noise and I can move it manually, but it doesn't work as it did?

Many thanks for offering help, believe it or not with a bit of wd40 it started working again.
Brilliant stuff WD40.
sometimes the teeth on the gear part of the motor wear. sound sas though if you fixed it with wd40 it was maybe a bit sticky!!
Aaaah, if only all ifes problems were fixed with WD40!

I had a really old Nova for about a year some time ago. During the winter time, it would not start. I popped the bonnet, sprayed the WD40 all over and it started! Worked every time LOL
