Have a look up the alley behind my mate's house one of them is bound to fit your car. There's a couple of fridges and settees too if you fancy one.

I get my batteries from the local Partco car parts shop, but I can't find a link on t'internet for you. They are part of Unipart, and run the vans that do immediate delivery of parts to workshops, so the prices are competitive.

I find Halfords pricey for most things.

I`ve very recently read of Jaguar owners buying heavy duty Varta batteries for �65. I noticed that Halfords ones were pricey.

not surprised that u have been quoted , 100 pounds , the size of engine and all of the ,,, electrics, on it ,,,,, Partco , isnt a bad , option , Brown brothers,,,,,, who are now the same, as Partco.....

Stay well away from halfords.....As previouse posts have said Partco ...Brown brothers are really good .....They even ive discounts depending on your Job....Always worth asking.

one of the other subscribers,,, suggested to stay away from HALFORDs regarding car batteries , iv bought three from HALFORDS , in the last 13 years and have been satisfied in all cases..... - in fact "PARTCO" at one time , used to have a "Local contracts" to supply HALFORDS , for parts, although not sure , if PARTCO was a first choice supplier to ~HALFORDS for Batteries...

Have you not got any local ford parts dealers - probably get a better deal there or at least learn that Halfords price is not a rip off.

Some scrap yards may have the same car as you and will Sell at a lot less than �100.00....Make sure they check it first.
