I need to replace the switch on my N reg Corsa. I've bought a new one but was wondering how to remove the old one from the dash.

Im hoping its not as complicated as the heater dial bulbs as one of those has gone but Ive been advised to leave it as its wayyyyy too much effort.

thanks

My Haynes manual for P reg Corsas onwards recommends using a thin strip of metal (junior hacksaw blade for instance. Cut off peg & bend 4mm at 90 degs. Using jiggery pokery to avoid damage to facia, insert so 4mm bit drops down behind switch & pull out. New one should just click back in. Your local library should have a manual for your year & will show you how to replace the heater dial bulb. Junior hacksaws are very brittle so wear protective glasses when bending!
