what is the make of car (mainly used as taxis) white and they look old.. they featured in a program road raja.

Maybe but there are also huge numbers of Fiat 100s. Well battered of course but these weere the most numerous when I was in Mumbai
Indeed, the Hindustan Ambassador. Hindustan also used to make the Contessa which was based on the 1970's Vauxhall Victor FE.
You can still buy these and have them shipped over here , mind you the chrome won't last the winter and its build quality is poor, but they are tried and tested and the indians can mend anything that goes wrong on them .... we also sold them that other "great" classic the austin montego ............ who needs friends............
