oil leak

I've just discovered a small puddle on the rubber mat in the passenger side footwell of my '95 Corsa. Its feels like oily water and is greenish in colour. It has no distinct smell. On closer examination it appears to be coming from under the centre console/dash area, under where the stereo is. There is also a smaller seepage on the drivers side mat.
I'd be grateful for any advice, thanks x

hi, its a coolant leak from the heater metrix which is a small radiator behind the dash that supplies the hot air when you turn the heater blower on.

You're an angel! xx

I was wondering if it was something to do with the heater - is it something I can fix or is it a garage job?
you could try something like rad weld for a quick fix but its likely to be a garage job sooner or later. you must remember to keep the water level up to stop any other damage to the engine due to overheating.

Thanks so much - I'm going to put in something which does the same job as rad weld (can't remember what its called) and see if that does the trick. I always check my water and oil regularly and I noticed it had used some water so everything you have said makes sense.
Cheers x
Try something called K-Seal. Apparently it makes a permanent repair
