Are all you motorists happy about this?

15.00 surcharge on motoring offences, to pay for victims of crime, victims of crime?

Over 100.00 charge or the police will not properly investigate if your car is stolen. This is levied for the police to recover your vehicle +storage charges. If you recover the vehicle yourselves the police will not fully investigate as they say you will destroy vital forensic evidence.

Strange Jef, If your car gets stolen the police don't catch anyone and you could loose your no claims.

If your insurance don't collect your car from the scene quickly enough the police will collect it then charge you the cost + storage.

Strange to be happy about that.
