hello,
i've been asked to source a really good sat nav system that is removeable and also has maps of europe. it needs to be extremely user friendly as it will be used by people with varying technological abilities, my dad. another feature that would be a plus is the ability to mute the instructions.
if anybody knows of a free site that offers comparisons / feature listings, i would be very grateful. i was thinking about the tom tom 910 but am unsure.
thanks in advance for your help

I've got a TomTom Go 910 and it's brilliant. Very simple to use, really intuitive. I'd suggest you go into John Lewis, they'll show you all the different systems and the staff know their stuff.

Cheers

I've got the 910 too, Easy to use. You can turn the directions off if you want. You can preview your route before you set off which is worth while doing as just entereing the post code can take to the wrong place. Also can be used as a hands free if you have a Bluetooth phone.
