I have just had the timing belt changed in my Audi A4 TDI 2.5 Quattro Avant.

The engine is now noisier and is uneven when idling. Is this normal or should I take it back to the garage?

it sounds like the actual timing is a fraction out,take it back.

sounds like they have got it one tooth out - take it back to have it rectified
