Freak wave hit my car.

I was driving along a prom last night and a freak wave came over the wall, straight down on my car. (Corsa 1993). The car was floating for a few minutes and water was coming in by my feet. I was really scared!! The car would not start and I had to be towed home by a fire engine! Really bad storm. Can anyone tell me if my faithful car will be ok. She got really wet and had seaweed hanging off the underside.
