For the last week now my car hasn't been starting first time all the time. The other day i tried it 10 times and the engine just kept on turning over but it never actually started! I went back to it after 5 minutes and it started with no problems. My dad's thinking it most likely the immobiliser. Is it a loose wire? Where's the immobiliser fitted in the car? Do I have to go to Renault to sort it or can anyone garage fix it? Any ideas?? Help!!!

We have a w-plate Megane that had a similar problem, although reports show a Megane immobilisers can leave you stranded the fault with ours was a TDC sensor which was picked up on a diagnostic check with Renault, cost 103 for a replacement and labour.
