I have a 1994 Rover 218 SLD Turbo as a second car. When my wife took it to work this morning the engine kept running after she had turned the ignition off. Apart from the ignition switch, is there anything else it could be?

Many thanks.

Its probably the stop solenoid on the diesel pump stuck open. Try giving the body of it a tap sometimes this works but ultimately it will need to be replaced.
