Hi all,

Does anyone else find some of the indicators now fitted integrally to a cars headlamp difficult to see. Not all of them are bad but a VW MK4 Golf was indicating at a roundabout this morning when on my way to work and it wasn't very visible at all. It's light was being overpowered by the headlamp. I have noticed this on all MK$ Golfs so I dont think an aftermarket extra powerfull headlamp bulb was the cause. It's not the same on all cars as there still seems to be a distinct seperation such as the Ford Focus even though it is integral. On the Golf the headlamp reflector seems to surround the indicator lens making it very difficult to see IMO. What do the rest of you think.

I fully agree, and have almost been caught out myself at a roundabout. I think that if this becomes an issue across the board (and across the world!) manufacturers will have to think again about their light design.
