Blacked-out windows and deafening music get my goat. It must be dangerous. I think that cars shouldn't be allowed to have music and should also have a spike fitted to the middle of the steering wheel.

You can't do much when the front of the car buckles. It was totally unavoidable - he came flying down a steep hill on my side of a narrow road, on a blind bend.

Going back some years: I left home one morning to drive into work, only to find that, overnight !, my car exhaust had suddenly become noisy. Well, couldn't do much there & then so resolved to get to work and get it sorted lunchtime. 

 

I didn't get ⅕ of the way into work before the police stopped me and gave me a ticket !  Shows how things have changed between now & then.

We have two around our way (at least).  They are a menace.  Oftentimes, driven past midnight too.
