I wouldn't have one for love of money - expensive, not enough range or charging points, those taking too long - and most of all, not environmentally friendly. 65% of the UK's tricity is generated from oil and gas, so one has the efficiency of that to consider, never mind transmission losses down the power-lines - and the damage done to CO2 and Nox and the rest by making and, eventually, disposing of them.
White paint comes as standard. Black, silver or blue paint costs £1450 extra. Red paint costs £2500 extra. I think that might explain why you see so many white models ;-)
Walking into our little town, I pass several Teslas including a red one (didn't know about the £2500 price difference)...one of the white ones has snow-white leather upholstery. So practical!
I don't think I've ever seen a white one, even in the Tesla shop a few miles away - it must be because I live in such a fantastically wealthy area. I've seen all the colours mentioned by Buenchico, though.
ginge, any time my chauffeur spills anything on the white upholstery, he knows he'll be looking for another job the next day. It's just down to training.
