My MOT is due next week. Will garages still be open or are we allowed to leave it until December due to lockdown?

I've just had my car MoTd. As I went into reception the lady was on the phone "Yes, it's OK, we'll be open". "Lockdown query?" I asked."Yes" was the reply.
