Just waited almost three hours for RAC to come out, just wondering if anybody on here can recommend a quicker breakdown service company, thanks.

Green Flag have always served us well and quickly.
you cannot judge them on one instance.
My wife had the same problem with them. She broke down in a very dangerous place so the Old Bill had to come and park up behind her. They were well peed off with the RAC. The bloke who pitched up said(to the Old Bill) there are big problems with the company.

I had a steaming row with them and told them no renewal. They kept hassling them so in the end I had to use the GDPR to remove everything from their Database. They did do that and stopped hassling me.

The AA are not much better but gone back with them.

Green flag is ok but I think you need a car under 10. At the time my truck was 14 years.
Nothing but praise for the RAC when I've used them. Always prompt - and even replaced a worn AC belt as a precaution when dealing with a no-start problem.
My daughter has broken down- in a two week old car. She has 3 children under 5 in the car. RAC have ben informed of this but so far over 2 hours now saying another 40 mins.

Dont go with this shower.
Green Flag sold out to KwikFit, and went downhill fast.
None of them are any longer reliable, the reason for the big delays is the same has any other business, reduced staff and vans. But will still take your cash and promise the earth. Most of them brag that they will fix your car within 30 mins of arriving, they don't brag on how long it will take to arrive.
One swallow doesn't make a summer, but I got an excellent "beyond expectations" service from Green Flag a few years ago.
years and years ago
I had them refuse to come out at all

hi - is that the RAC
answer - could be!
and I knew I was in deep deep doggy do
Do these companies still prioritise lone female drivers - or is that another victim of equality regulations?
Been with Green Flag for years. Only had to call then out twice but very happy with the service we received on both occasions. Would not touch AA with a bargepole.
Well the RAC clearly dont prioritise lone young drivers with very young kids. I have proof of that today.
Greenflag for me too.
