My car is 18 plate Ford Ecosport which i have had since new.
Came out this morning to find the remote only opens the drivers door and not the passenger or boot, very strange.

Its a keyless entry so no actual key but have tried the spare in case is was the battery but no joy.

Will contact Ford in the new year but i need the car at the moment, probably wont get it booked in till then anyway,

So any ideas in the meantime much appreciated.

The only knowledge I can offer to the thread is that sometimes a unlock button needs to be pressed more than once to unlock other doors. The first unlock for the drivers door then once again for passengers and maybe even once again for the back / boot.

Obviously if you have had the car since new then you are well aware of how the car usually unlocks.
On my Volvo there are menu settings which you can access to change which doors unlock when you open the driver's door. For security reasons some people like only the driver's door to unlock to avoid the risk of baddies getting in the car through one of the other door or stealing things from your boot. Check that your settings haven't somehow got changed.
You could always read the manual.

Thanks all, i used the car yesterday and all was fine, seems to have changed overnight.

Will get the manual out later and have a look later.
Sometimes there is a simple system reboot which solves problems of this type.
