Taxation Class & Insurance?

If a cars taxation class is changed from PLG to disabled, does the insurance company need to be informed? I don't remember them asking what class the car is registered as whenever I've applied for insurance before. Thanks for any help

A phone call to your Insurers will confirm whether or not it is a requirement
Your Answer...I would be inclined to just tell them anyway. If u didnt need to all well and good. If you did need to well then you've done it
