has anyone got any information on this. This is our second engine. first one failed after 1yr/23000mls. This one after 5yrs/48000mls. Tried ringing ford but we keep getting passed from pillar to post on grounds of expired warranty. We propose to complain on the grounds that warranty is not a legal limit and engine failure should not happen after 25k miles. I know ford is massive but i thought the idea these day was to try and help customers who have a vaild complaint (you are important to us, etc etc).

I think there is a recall at the moment on this engine overheating.
