My daughters Peugeot 107 has a broken bracket under the door handle on the drivers side. It has a part number on it but that is the part number of the manufacturer not the Peugeot part number. Got in touch with Peugeot who want £73.00 for what is just a piece of plastic. They did not offer me the part number which I understand as they want me to buy from them. They have them on eBay second hand for about £20 but they are all for the passenger side. Is there a way of finding out Peugeot part numbers? It is a difficult item to explain, it screws to the door under the actual handle. I have trawled the net and I have found which looked hopeful, only to find they are just for major parts of the car. If I had the part number it would make my search easier. Thanks for any answers.

Hello Buenchico, I have been on similar sites, PartsGateway and 1st Choice and so far they say no joy. I think if I could get the Peugeot part number it would be helpful as I don't know if they know exactly which bit I'm talking about. I will try this other one you have recommended, thanks.

Has Tony got it right? If not, please post a link to an eBay ad for the 'wrong' side, so that we can be sure what it is that we're looking for.

No sorry tony, that is not the bit. That's the handle, it's the bit that goes under the handle and screws to the door. I'm not sure how to post a link but on eBay I typed in Peugeot 107 handle and scrolled down. It looks a bit like an anvil shaped piece with holes where the screws go. Thank you for your help anyway.

No, sorry tony, that's not it either. If I knew how to post a link I would. I will have to find out how to do it. I have photos on my iPad also. I am not very tech savvy but if I find out how to do it I will. It looks a bit like that flat plastic piece which is the handle but more of an anvil shape. Sorry to be such a dumbkoff.
To post a link (using a Windows PC) go to the relevant eBay page, right-click in your browser's address bar (which will highlight the address) and select 'Copy'. Come to an AB post, right-click and select 'Paste'. (Make sure that you don't type anything immediately in front of, or after, the link as it will get mixed up in the link and corrupt it. It's best to put your link on a new line and then press 'Enter', so that the rest of your post is kept separate from it).

To do the same on an iPad, click in the address bar (when viewing the page you want to link to) and then on 'Copy'. Come to an AB post, press and hold where you want your link to appear (preferably on a new line). When the magnifying circle appears, stop pressing. Then accept the 'Paste' option which will appear.

[Note that your link will look just like normal text on your screen. It will only become a red, clickable link after you've submitted your post]
