I heard something on the news this morning that the old paper driving licence is being scrapped in the next few weeks. Does anyone know what this means, I only have the paper licence, will I need to renew it and at what cost. Thanks for any help.

Saintpeter, if you have an original pink or green paper driving licence like me then you don't need to do anything. The one that is being scrapped is the back up paper licence which accompanies the phototcard licence. If you don't have a photocard licence then you don't have to do anything.

It is only the photocard paper licence that is being scrapped. The old paper licence is still valid unless your circumstances have changed.
With the photo licence you have an accompanying paper that shows endorsements and entitlements. This is being scrapped NOT the old single paper licence as from June 8th.
