Avondale Mayfly caravan

Hi All
I have a 1998 Avondale mayfly which is fitted with a on board fresh water tank, my question is can the on board water tank be bypassed and just use the external water bottle be used as I sometimes only stay on a site one night at a time and do not like travelling with the tank with water in it plus the fact of wasting unused water.
I look forward to hearing from anyone.
Regards

I have just had a quick look for any Mayfly caravans for sale, and the ones I found showed an aquaroll with them, which signifies yes, you can use an external water supply. Usually there is some sort of tap system under the seat by the inboard tank to direct the water intake to the external source. Hope this makes sense!
I have an on board tank and I only fill it to what I need. You dont have to fill the whole tank to use it.
Not familiar with the mayfly but my controller is set to either pump to fill the tank or switch to use internal taps. I just switch it over when I have enough in the onboard tank.
Thinking about it I rarely fill the on board tank.
