Feeling all jittery tonight. Himself has an angiogram scheduled for tomorrow (to check his bonce after his head went bang). He went last month to get it done but they couldn't fit him in (problems with the person in front of him). They gave him an MRI and the consultant is not 'happy' with it. Don't know if it was a crappy MRI or if there is an issue with what they can see. Eldest two children have been off from school today feeling 'iffy'. Can't help thinking they are worrying too. Still haven't got my car back from the bleeding garage so himself has to get a taxi in the morning (clashes with school run too). And breathe!!!!

If he was scheduled for an angiogram because that's what the consultant wanted, then there will be stuff that can be seen by angiogram that is less easy to see on MRI. The consultant will have looked at the MRI,and said "yes I thought so, I can't see what I need to see on this, I need the angiogram.

Keep breathing....
How are the tropical fish doing?
Oh blimey, fingers crossed everything will be ok at the hospital. The kids probably are worried, I would say keep them off but they're probably better off at school where they can keep occupied.

Still breathing - tropical fish doing well. Breeding like buggery. Got snails so bought assassin snails to see them off. Got too many baby fish, got a Siamese fighting fish to see them off. Himself took boy #2 out to get some fish yesterday - £22 for two (yes, just two) dwarf chain loaches (no idea). I feed them, nothing has died and we now have 2 x 70 litre tanks.
It's natural to worry and you will double dose on the anxiety when you see your children feeling out of sorts.

Fingers crossed all is well tomorrow.
It'll be OK Sherr'

It is worrisome - and the dogs'll start howling etc - but still .... 24 h and it will be OK/ The radiologist wants to do an angio because it shows slightly different things to an MRI - it is a low quality MRI you just repeat it.

it'll be OK - it just gonna be an awkward 24 h ....
Is it at the Q E, sherr ?, fingers crossed for himself.

I think what's 'puzzling' me is that the hospital rang to sort it all out and himself spoke to them. He then borrowed my friend's car to get the fish, like he was sorting out loose ends/made promises. I know I am over thinking this, but your mind goes mental with things like this.

It is the Q of E Tony. Fab building, sad place for lots of people - strangely excellent fruit stall outside.
He probably did it because he's worried too because he would be, not because of anything he was told.
Thinking is rarely a healthy pastime in my experience!

Don't over analyse, it serves little purpose apart for keeping you awake.

No doubt himself is a bit anxious about tomorrow and was just looking for a distraction.
sherr, did the consultant say why he / she wasn't happy with the MRI ?.
tony it was probably someone from the angiogram booking dept giving that as a general answer, I don't think that Mr Sher actually spoke to the consultant...and booking person probably had a note to book an angiogram, Mr Sher asked why and BP said words to the effect that the consultant wasn't happy with the MRI.

Himself just spoke to a lady, don't suppose she knows the details. He wasn't best pleased about the diagram showing where he had to shave himself that came in the post today - I found it amusing though.

I'm sure it'll be fine.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. It is routine procedure to have an angiogram 6-12 months after coiling of an aneurism. An MRI very often won't give the detail required.
Hope it all goes smoothly for him...
Righto, I get the picture, woofgang.
Pssssst, sherr, weres he gotta shave ?.
ummm "groinal area" Tony and regrowth is gonna itch like crazy
sher, will he get you to do it??
Question Author
Groin area, most put out about it. He needs to man up, I've had his five (lovely) children, including one at home and bloody twins!!!
yes you will have a sleepless night. and im sure the older ones have picked up your anxiety. but as far as I can see from your posts, mr s, seems well. best wishes for tomorrow.
