bought the car 56plate corsa 2 weeks ago the engine emmisions light came on, had it reset came back on week later, so had the lumbar sensor and air flow meter changed £265 and now again 5 days later the light has come back on again. car has only done 13000miles so in a way like a new car, not sluggish at all and has plenty of kick in it, what is causing the light to come on again

I suspect you mean lambda sensor (unless the car has a bad back).

The engine warning light may have come on due to a completely unrelated fault to that corrected by the recent repair.

You need to take the car back to the garage for a diagnostic check – you could consider taking it to another garage, but if it is the same fault, you should give the first garage the opportunity to fix it free of charge.

yeah that's what I meant lol, on the diagnostics test it came up with the lambar sensor and he said its sometimes comes up as that but means the air flow one instead and that's why he changed both, im fuming as money is tight as it is for everyone and if ive paid all that money for nothing I will feel like crying lol, but yes I will take the car back to same garage as if I take it somewhere else they will charge for diagnostic test then probably say its the same 2 sensors and I will be no further forward
Your system might need cleaning. Over time the sensors get gummed up.
My wifes car did just this and diagnostics at £40 said catalytic converter not working.
I took a punt on Cataclean off eBay, used it as per instructions and lo and behold, the light stayed off forever after!

This stuff did what it was meant to !

Nothing to lose so try it!

Also I invested in my own code reader and light resetter. Again, off eBay. Not expensive but a great investment.
To be fair you can't say for sure unless you take it to your garage. That is the only way to be sure.
