Is the York bypass still as bad as ever?
Tom-tom & Google suggest using A64, but in previous years we have found that the longer route N of the moors is quicker.
We will be leaving mid morning tomorrow

We went up a couple of weeks ago A1m, A64 then over the moors from Malton with no trouble at all apart from a set of tempory lights just as we were going into Whitby. It didn't look like a major job so probably clear by now.

In the past the dual carriageway round York going into single carriageway has led to long queues. Have they improved things
