My 04 KA passed the MOT today, just needed a couple of bulbs, remiss of me I know, should have checked them!........but really chuffed!........Thought it might cost me an arm and a leg to get it through the test, am thinking of changing it, but think I may wait for 6 months or so now, what do you all think, I want a similiar size car this time, but really need a four door, been looking at a hyundai getz, or similiar!

I had a Ka and really loved it, went like a go cart but if you really do need 4 doors consider the Suzuki range. great little motors and very reliable although spares are a bit exy. The Swift is v. good.
But I'd keep the Ka....

thanks shoota, think I am going to stay with my KA, I love it!.........
I would stick with it. I had a Rover 218 diesel that had done 225000 miles when I had to scrap it, thanks to a German lorry driver who didn't use his mirrors! Never let me down!

well, part ex they are offering me around 500 to 1000 in part ex, but we all know that they have loaded their price of the cars on sale to allow for this!......I hate car salesmen with a passion anyway!......so will keep my little KA for now anyway!...........
my 1978 Triumph Spitfire sailed through too!

great mjwman, not surprised really, they don't make them like that any more!.......
I love my Ka but more and more things keep going wrong. Mines is a 53 reg and was in the garage 5 times in January.

Now that i've got a full time job I'm thinking of getting a new car and i've been looking at the new Nissan Micras. Not the ones that are trying to be a beetle lol... Have a look at them. They're really nice :-)
I love my KA. It's never broken down....
I think i'd regret selling it because it's so nippy and fun to drive. I don't know how other cars would compare! My dad even likes driving it even though he thinks it looks like a roller skate!!
