have xtype jag when i put side lights on h/lights come on with them has anybody ha his problem

Are you sure itis a problem ?
If you need the sidelights on then you probably should use the dippedbeam ,which is what happens

Sidelights should be banned anyway. Too many numpties driving round with just them on when they really need headlights on to be visible to other road users.
