A lot of ABs on here ask advice regards Cam Belts / Chains, brakes etc, the use of their main dealers for servicing only to be overcharged, do any of you take heed of the advice given? Just interested.

Reason I asked Boxy, there was a person on here asking advice regards a Fiesta, a few give her advice she did not take the warning the week after the thing was causing her trouble! ( With respect to the lady)

I've heard that one before Messi, a friend of mine had a flat tyre replaced with the spare & could not understand where this knocking noise was coming from. ( Loose wheel nuts).

Friend of mine changed to the spare wheel after a puncture and put the wheel nuts on dome side outwards. They looked prettier. Same result. Strange nocking noise.

I worked at a place where the boss's wife told him the delivery vehicle must have had a leaking radiator because it had taken two whole buckets of water to top up.

It was a Morris Mini. Their entire cooling system wouldn't hold a bucket of water so you can imagine what she had filled. It was back in the days when transverse engines were not so common.

Once, whilst in a traffic queue I noticed that the car in front(with 2 children in the back)had a completely flat tyre. I got out of my car and told the lady driver. Her response was a sweet smile followed by' thank you it's alrigtht I haven't got far to go'............. !!!!!

At times we slip up Derek, but if we can save people time / money then the information that is given out has worked, at time the most simplest of thing confuse us I find if I go for a brew then try again it works.

Many years ago whilst putting some petrol in my car i noticed a woman parked not far from me topping up the oil in her Nissan 300z, it was coming out of the top of the dip stick hole.
