Is this how you meant the question to appear? I'm not sure what you are asking .
not certain they have timing marks, i assume you are changing the belt ? if so i believe its all done by locking the pulleys etc. in there relevant position with bolts (or proper timing pins)
You can do it ok with 8mm pin, and M8 bolt.Pump does not time up (as it's just pressure to rail) Did one a long time ago.
Haynes manual as good as any, and will show you what's needed.
Make sure you fit a kit .. AND a water pump (if over 50K miles)
Last time I did anything with the timing it was with the marks on the engine block, a notch on the fly wheel and a strobe light.
Might be a good idea to mark the pulleys with white paint just in case the pin or bolt fall out while you are struggling to get the belt on the pullies.
Well .. yes .. but with pinned locking, you just put them back in : )
Very tight belts on these.

hi have been told that jag 2.0 v6 runns on 4cyl for econamy then when you speed up goes on to six does anybody no if this is right
Well BMW have been using 'cylinder management' for years.
Quite feasible .. have to look up Ford .. err .. sorry .. Jaguar. : )
thats a bit like mercs with eco mode, if you were buying that sort of high end vehicle, economy is usually the last thing on your mind.
paddywak ,
timing lights are a thing of the past, you cant actually manually adjust the timing on a modern vehicle, its all controlled by the ECU & various sensors.
