my car has been written off cat c without me knowing

I didn't receive a RFL reminder this year, after trying to renew online without success
I ran a few checks on the dvla website - this showed that a VIC was required.

Following this i have run a car check - this shows that my car was written off cat C back in MARCH 09.
My car has never been involved in an accident nor have i made any Insurance claims.

How can this happen??? do insureres / dvla make mistakes or has my car been cloned???
I have owned the car for 3 years without any problem - purchased from Audi dealer with full experian check.

Any Ideas anyone?

Yes both of them make mistakes especialy the DVLA, take it up with them.
