My Ford Focus is leaking oil around the timing belt - what could it be.

it could be a oil leak,get it looked at asap,before the cambelt snaps and costs you thousands
Hi Seymour, Try and spot exactly where its coming from-it could be the camshaft cover gasket- might just need the cam cover bolts nipping up.Other main reasons are the camshaft/s oil seal/s, or the main crankshaft oil seal. Renewal of both of these require removal/refitting of the timing belt- renewal of belt , tensioner and idle pulleys adviseable. Do asap as norman says- if belt snaps, you are in serious money trouble!!!
Dont drive if it expels lots of smoke as the law will prosecute.
