oh and Norman whilst you spend all day on this here pooter, could you be good enough to pop over to TV and answer my Q on Anneka Rice cos everyones ignoring it and i look like billy -no-mates ta luv ; )
on the older 7 series was it just a lever or was it electric as well, but anyhow,if you took it to a garage they will open it for you quite easily and ask thaem to rig up a piece of wire to the latch,so you can open it till you get a new lever.
Question Author
no it wasnt electric just the lever, and when i took it to BMW they did the old 'looking at it whilst rubbing his chin and shaking his head...........' and then said 'Ooooh the only alternative is to strip the dash....' At which point i thought.... 'Might as well put my T-shirt back on as it was clearly not having the desired effect!'
Thanks anyway norman, oh and how come your up early? Wet the bed 'ave we? ; )
