i have 1999 vauxhall vectra 2.0 diesel. the power management light keeps coming on and there is a loss of power. i have checked the vacuum pump and also fitted a new air flow meter. this has not cured the fault. does anyone have a suggestion as to what the cause of this fault is.

Have you tried reading any fault codes from the ECU ?
Sounds to me like it could be the EGR valve,BUT like all faults there are a number of possabilities. I would also recommend reading fault codes as apposed to trial and error cos the error bit gets expensive...
sorry its a common fault with vauxhalls it goes back to the cavalier.you ve got to take it to a main dealer .
