My wife loves watching Taggart,but she missed the first episode of the latest series and she's wondering why/how he was written out of the programme.

they sacked him over the phone. I asked the same question recently and an aber sent me a link from a scottish newspaper. Sorry, I haven't learnt how to send links yet.
I cant get used to Taggart without him.
