is the driving scenes (inside the jeep/suv) on bones fake. it never looks like a real road, despite there being a lot of cars, booth spends more time looking at brennan when he's talking to her than looking at the road in front of him. and as they've never crashed, just wondering if anyone else thinks (or knows) it's fake looking.

Of course it's fake. Is this a genuine question?

How could they film it and act if they were actually driving?
I do know that they sometimes get round this by actually having the vehicle on a trailer, being towed, so the road scenes are real but the occupants of the vehicle can still speak to each other as the driver isn't steering.

thanks, never thought of it being on a trailer, it makes sense, it always bothered me, thought I'd finally ask, and find out for sure once and for all.

some driving scenes in other American shows look far more realistic even though they more than likely use the same method.
