Zoe got landed with looking after a little girl and her mum also gave her some money - I suppose owing. But who is the mum and what is the connection?

This relates to a story the previous week about a young woman who was being beaten by her father in law and as it turned out, her husband too. Zoe took pity on her and gave her money before she left the hospital but she has returned for more money and dumped the girl on Zoe.
