Found out today that my first ever real boyfriend died of cancer at the weekend and I am so shocked. We all say life is too short and we should live for today, but how many of us do? Sad x

No, apparently it was very quick from start to finish. That is why everyone who knew him is shocked.

He was only in his fifties, and yes it is a long time since we went out but he was still a part of my life (you never forget your first love).
