Red Squirrel Woman

Quite a few years ago I watched a nature programme about a young woman who was dedicated to preserving the habitat of red squirrels. I remember she was attractive and always had her large dog with her. I also remember that someone wrote to her telling her how attracted he was to her, and they ended up getting married. I am curious to know if they are still together, or even if anyone actually recalls this programme.

could be Jessica Holm? her 4-year study of red squirrels on the IOW was summarised & broadcast as part of the "wildlife on one" series.

I remember the story of her marriage but don't know if they're still together.
