Is anyone else having problems receiving UK TV History?
We have two TVs , one with integrated Freeview and one operating through a Freeview box. On both sets, the menu under Channel 12 lists the programmes which, according to TV listings, are for a channel called Dave and these are the programmes being received.
The problem has only recently arisen.

I was thinking of going on to the BBC website and asking what to do about this. That channel called Dave is a complete waste of time, and UKTV History was one of my favourite programmes.

I'll keep any eye on any positive answers you hopefully get!

Many thanks juliacornwal and pauln90 for your comments.
Very disappointed at the new restricted hours of UK TV History which completely rule it out as far as I am concerned.
Dave is on Channel 19

UKHistory on channel 12

UKHistory has been going downhill for the last 6 months. Factual documentaries have been largely replaced by fictional dramas (mostly endless episodes of Sharpe).
Actually I do have to agree with you, Gromit, I have begun to notice a 'falling off' of UKTV history - but I was quite enjoying the re-runs of Tenko. Ah well, I guess I'll have to buy it on DVD, like I did World at War.

I see Virgin has taken over someone else's channel as well on Freeview - but I haven't noticed a great improvement in programing, I do have to say!!
I seem to remember similiar problems with Sky channels They had this annoying habit of diluting their channels in order for the customers to upgrade to another package. & they got away with it Sounds about right.
wat winds me up the most is that uk history hasnt been swapped for some channel that is ov the same nature it has been swapped for dave that is just full ov years old little britain episodes that every1s seen 20 times over!
You need to retune your digibox/TV. my father had the same problem, and being a technophobe, called on me to help. Also, UKTV History is no longer free to view after 6.00p.m.
